This morning we had the pleasure to attend, thanks to Paco Lara, press presentation for the new Apple Store on Paseo de Gracia, as already indicated, are open to the public next Saturday at 10:00.
This time, after meeting and to prove to all attendees of the press in the front door, have proceeded to tell some curiosities of the store, as it is the largest in southern Europe and one of the largest in the world.
After the brief introduction by John Browett, the Vice President of Retail Apple and Bob Bridger, we had the opportunity to stroll freely through our store, divided into three floors.
In the main we find the full range of Apple products like iPhone's MacBook's, iPhone's, iMac's, iPods, etc.. Of course, around the table each found loads of dependents, trained by Apple, which is a pleasure.
On the bottom we have all the accessories ready for purchase, from covers to iPhone headsets, keyboards and bags. A new feature is implemented for the first time in Spain (from now on will be available in 7 other Apple stores), is the inclusion of the EasyPay system by which we buy directly only to have an iTunes account, picking and scanning directly the product bar code from the IOS application for the Apple Store .
At the top are all about service, Genius Bar, courses, etc. where we can go to satisfy our doubts about any Apple product or learn to use any of the programs they offer. It also has a group of courses PRO, for people with advanced skills, enabling them to fully exploit the applications, whether design, photography, music and more.
- At the level of curiosity, we can say that the large window that holds the ladder to the top floor is pretty spectacular though we have very clear if one end against the glass estampándose ...
- Downstairs, in contrast to what we thought initially, is lighted by windows to the outside, so do not miss natural light at all.
- The upstairs room is a briefing for businesses where they can receive more intimate presentations or special courses.
- The stone used in building the store, inside and out, comes from local quarries and atesanos.
- The store has a lift for people with mobility problems, although not in sight and you have to ask that we bring to it.
- As usual, we have the typical opening shirt, this time in a spectacular box once deployed, flower shaped and look like the outer wall.
- We have made our first purchase, 2 iTunes cards worth 15 €. One winner already (we did the draw on Twitter), but the other will be drawn shortly (Greetings from here to the girl who sold us the very nice it has told us that we read

Next Saturday we will be there to witness the official opening to the public, in which insurance is a huge queue formed as usual, remember: Saturday 28 at 10:00.
