Amid the avalanche of documents in legal tussles between Samsung and Apple, Ina Fried of AllThingsD, highlights this paragraph:
"Samsung was forced to throw a lot of documents that had been kept and show the similarity between its product and Apple. Examples of documents include a conversation between employees of Samsung on the resemblance to Apple products and reports from retailers like Best Buy in stating that some tablets from Samsung were returned because customers thought they were buying an iPad. "
As you can see people talk about "customers" for Best Buy, so it is clear that more than one. I do not know how many cases there will be, but it is still something strange and even funny.
But now seriously, how many people can buy a Samsung tablet and think that is an iPhone until they get home and open it? discover at what point that is not what they bought iPad? I do not really think they are more than two or three people at most, people who probably bought it as a gift and did not know they were buying.
And part of the subject of lawsuits between Samsung and Apple, I think this news is not good place to stop in Best Buy, makes clear that employees of this chain does not care about their customers and do not interact with them to recommend what really are looking for.
What do you think? Do you think yourself a good proof that Samsung copied Apple in a trial?
