Google has launched its new version of the Google Earth app, the 7.0.0, which adds the ability to view 3D maps.
Google was ahead of Apple with 3D maps, a week before the presentation of IOS 6 at WWDC 2012, when all the rumors and evidence indicated that Apple mostaría its new map service.
Now they're ahead (keep in mind that IOS is not yet public) launch their own 3D mapping service in which, so far, are available some cities like San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles and Rome, and the soon to be added new cities.
But Google Earth has never been an application that consumes few system resources, so that this function of 3D is compatible with the iPhone 4S, 2 and New iPad iPhone, yet on the iPad 2, for example, there are times note that its heaviness.
Do you have the latest beta of iPhone OS 6 installed? Perhaps you find it interesting to compare the maps in 3D with Google Apple and tell us what you look better.
