With IOS 6 we know that the map application will lose some functionality provided by Google as the Street View but win others (on some devices) such as turn by turn navigation or 3D mode.
While relations between Google and Apple have deteriorated in this respect, the search company vowed not to stop lying to users of IOS and provide a mapping alternative to 6 IOS . For now, we can go using Google Earth 7.0 adds a couple of very interesting features: a 3D mode and guidebooks.
The 3D mode is similar to that provided by IOS 6. So far only a few cities have this rendering in three dimensions (Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Geneva and Rome) but will gradually increase the number.
