Just the new ad for Apple. It shows the virtues of the iPhone 4S , specifically your virtual assistant. As you can see, Siri is responsible for organizing the agenda of a very special guest, director Martin Scorsese.
Not for the first time we see these ads starring a celebrity from Apple. If you remember, there have been campaigns with Samuel L. Jackson, Zooey Deschenel, and John Malkovich (twice).
During the announcement, the famed director is in a taxi in a traffic jam on the busy city of New York.'s Talking to Siri, trying to rearrange his schedule. Specifically, we observe that uses the following functions:
- Show calendar today.
- Move appointments and events.
- Find a friend.
- Check traffic conditions.
And all this with a blistering pace, without disconnections and a perfect understanding on the part of the device. Of course, we must note that it is an advertisement and that the sequences are prepared and shortened.
It is curious that Apple continue to focus its efforts to publicize Siri, a feature that now no longer just shocking that when it was released last year. Still, the virtual assistant company on the block is still in beta, and the complexity of technology makes us think that it will continue that way for long.
The truth is that a nice ad with a celebrity can help or not the diffusion of the product, but what is clear is that this type of advertising makes clear that Siri can be used to Work out problems in your day to day, in real situations and daily.
