What is and who is the tool TinyCFW

661402 Qué es y para quién es la herramienta TinyCFW

Yesterday we told you about TinyCFW tool, a program created by the developer of TinyUmbrella to a friend, in fact not even thought to go public.

This tool has a main function: to downgrade IOS to IOS 4.3.3 5 in an iPad 2 WiFi 3G GSM (not CDMA, in Spain all are GSM). The reason is that before you could not do a downgrade in the iPad 2 because of the 3G baseband, when checking an error was 1500. This tool updates the baseband for the update no error. In the iPhone 4 you can skip this error because we have a bootrom exploit.

So what we get is firmware 4.3.3 with baseband of IOS 5.0.1 (or Apple offering in the future).

This tool can also be used in the iPhone 4. What is the difference between downgrade tutorials that I have read in News iPhone? Very simple, the others maintain the baseband, it's updated.

Who is indicated then this tool? For people who do not mind the baseband, ie, using your iPhone with your home operator or use a free iPhone, all except those that use some kind of release ( SIM Gevey Ultrasn0w, if you use this is not your tool).

Is it good for the iPhone 4S? What about 3G? It serves only for the iPad iPhone 4 and 2.

Do I need any SHSH? Yes, if you need the version SHSH want to install, to use this tool need the IOS 4.3.3 SHSH

And what are the benefits? The advantages of this tool are you will not have errors in restoring the custom firmware, or recovery loop, or XXXX error number or anything, a simple and error-free restoration.
