Apple lags behind in one thing: facial recognition to unlock our devices. It seems to have put the batteries and, because this week has been a facial recognition patent in the Patent and Trademark Office United States.
In the patent can be seen how an individual, to approach an iPod, iPhone, iPad or Mac, automatically unlocks the device screen. And is that Apple patented by far the color of the person, the location of its mouth and eyes and contrasts all this information instantly with the reference photo taken when configuring the system.
This patent makes us think that the system could help to integrate devices from different people sessions. For example, the Mac could recognize the face of different members of the family and open the session that you have come to the computer. Will it happen the same with the iPhone / iPad?
