Jonathan Ive is knighted in 2012

Jonathan Ive, Steve Jobs right hand and head of product design at Apple, start 2012 off right. The Apple Vice President of Design will receive a knighthood in 2012, a great honor for any British citizen and that the Queen herself England is responsible for granting.

So Jonathan Ive will be invested as a Knight in 2012 by the historian John Patrick Richardson. Ive started working for Apple in 1992 and since then has continued to climb in the company. Earlier this year it was rumored the possibility that left the company to return to their homeland, which eventually did not happen by the loyalty that I've kept to Jobs.

Jonathan Ive has already said he is excited by the news and "is very thankful." Without doubt, Apple products (and Samsung) would not be the same without his genius to the design.
