It closed in 2011 and finally just one story of the year: the iconic building would house Tio Pepe Madrid next Apple store? The former mayor of Madrid, Gallardón, was confirmed this year. However, in recent months, several media reported that Apple might have reconsidered the matter and have changed my mind. The store could be moved to another location on the Gran Vía.
Finally, the building of the Sun, Tio Pepe, will host an Apple store and several offices of the company in the Spanish capital. This was approved this week a full council of Madrid, Ana Botella as mayor of the city and thus confirmed hours later at a news conference.
The low of the building and the first two floors will be aimed at the Apple store. The other floors will house the offices of the company. Apple has a free hand to make the building changes it deems necessary to meet your needs.
