Google has unveiled this week a new update to Google Maps, including juicy news. Nobody escapes it has been a move to preempt Apple, who presumably will present its new 3D maps, totally independent of Google, at WWDC 2012 next Monday.
These new maps will be presented as Apple's new IOS feature star 6, as all bets. So the big G did not want to get off the car, now it looks like the apple company will dispense with its mapping service.

Although never mentioned the brand, just look at the menus at the top to see what's running on the Apple device. Here's the full video, about 44 minutes you can see how to show their performance in an iPad :
The truth is that it is good to see how the workers of the two companies, despite their differences and their competition, to shun fanaticism when presenting their technology. Now, What maps application will stay, if we can choose between two supposedly so fantastic?
