Apple calls the ". Apple"

icaan Apple solicita el dominio .apple

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is conducting a program to increase the presence of generic domains on the Internet with all kinds of endings. According to Google confirmed last month, companies around the world have been able to apply their own endings to the organization.

One of the applicants has been very Apple, which has claimed the termination of the domain. "Apple". In this way we could access websites like "iphone4s.apple" or "macbookpro.apple". This is the only domain that the Cupertino company has requested.

On the other hand, in the online document published by ICANN , we see that there are a lot of companies have asked the ". app". This is probably one of the most difficult to achieve.
