New phishing campaign to try to get our Apple ID and password

Nueva campaña de phishing para tratar de conseguir nuestro Apple ID y contraseña

Internet is full of dangers and we all know, you just have to have some common sense to prevent malware from infecting your computer or get the wrong hands our personal data. Even with all this, we can all be deceived and fall into the trap once.

Why say this? Because the Sophos security blog, Naked Security, reported that it has launched a new phishing campaign to try to get our Apple ID and our password, ie the data needed to buy in iTunes, App Store and other Apple stores.

As usual in this practice, we will e-mail purportedly from Apple with a link that we just redirect to another site, apparently also from Apple. However, this page is just a copy of the original site will try to fool us introduce our user data.

Be suspicious of any email that you could get a service reference that you never asked, remember that Apple will never ask for your password via e-mail, look well on the security certificates which accedéis site after clicking a link contained in an email. With these simple steps will prevent greater evils.

Mail that is often met with aim of phishing is like the picture but the link contained leads us to a German website totally false. Do not be surprised if they start to appear emails and websites with other similar aesthetic but with the same purpose.

If you still think your account may have been compromised, access to iTunes, change the password as soon as possible and report what happened to Apple (or place a complaint with the authorities if there has been a waste of money without your permission.)

Since this is a security-related news on our account, spread the information through Twitter or Facebook using the buttons at the top of the post. So you will learn as many people as possible.
