Things on AT & T are not well in coverage. The company claims to have a strong 3G network in the country but the fact is that is desperate to have an iPhone in large cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. Weakness is glimpsed in their struggle against those customers who have jailbroken their phones and used as a modem.
MyWi application available in Cydia, helps us to share our 3G connection with other computers and portable devices. Therefore, AT & T believes that some customers who use the application are misusing its 3G connection. Therefore, AT & T is forcing them to switch to a plan maximum of 2GB per month without giving notice thereof. In fact, an employee of AT & T confirmed these facts by claiming that "justice is done with respect to other clients of the operator."
Hopefully this initiative will spread to other countries and phone companies.
