Currently two giants share the sweet cake of mobile advertising: Apple's iPhone and Google and Android. Here's an interesting infographic that tells us how the current landscape is about advertising on smartphones.
Google's operating system, Android, is slowly gaining ground to Apple's iPhone, the driver of the industry smartphones.

As trivia, the iPhone wins in CTR (ratio of clicks / taps) and eCPM (cost per thousand impressions) while Android gains in the percentage of satisfied customers after clicking or touching in some advertisement.
