Apple continues to define its strategy in the field of television content. So far the thing has not been given very good given the strong competition in a market where there reigns Netflix. The latter will expand to Europe in 2012 while Apple does not yet have distribution agreements for television programs.
iTunes Store offering rentals or TV episodes for just 1 cent. However, the model seems to have fit well with the iTunes Store customers who prefer to pay $ 1 to have that content whenever they want because the price difference is minimal. This is the main reason that Apple no longer offer rental of television programs.
