Said and done. Just few minutes after Steve Jobs send a statement to members of your company and the community of Apple leaving office, the Board has named Apple CEO Tim Cook, who currently works assuming the role of Jobs since the last low in January of this year. Thus, it fulfilled the wishes of the creator of Apple's "recommended as the successor to Tim Cook."
Following the succession plan developed by Apple, Steve Jobs is director of the board of Apple and will continue to weight the most important decisions of the company.
