The preferred operating system for smartphones by customers in the United States remains Android. That is, Google still dominates the market for mobile operating systems with a share of 39% rent 28% of IOS and 20% of Blackberry. These are the results provided by Nielsen for the past month of June 2011.
However, as shown in the chart of the study, Apple continues to dominate as a manufacturer of front HTC smartphones (14%), Motorola (11%) and Samsung (8%). Furthermore, it should be noted that Apple makes its own mobile operating system at the same time, while Google has agreements with various manufacturers to implement its software, which gives it greater market reach.
