Two months ago we saw a video that compared face to face iPhone 4S panel and a panel of 4.07 inches that supposedly belonged to iPhone 5. Later, we saw another video where we could see several parts of the device and the assembly of these parts to show the possible final appearance of the iPhone 5 .
Today we see a new video comparing the iPhone 4S panel and the panel of the rumored iPhone 5. The video takes about seven minutes, and some of the things that you can see the layout is more focused on the front chamber and a higher screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, which agrees well with previously filtered schemes.
In this video we also observe that the panel is not only higher than the iPhone 4S, also is 0.1 mm thinner and offers more light transmission and scratch resistance than the last.
The video made by a company that supplies parts to Apple iPhone, called ETrade Supply, so it is very likely that the company is merely trying to get some publicity. So much video as we get the report with the tongs.
Supply Etrade also notes that the hole for the start button is 0.3 mm in diameter smaller than the hole in the iPhone 4S, and the area around the start button of the iPhone's glass lens 5 is more narrow, indicating a smaller speaker in the next iPhone.
The hole in the front chamber also seems slightly narrower at the glass lens on the front of iPhone 5 . The hole for the light sensor is moved from the top toward the left side of the receiver and is also noticeably smaller. Etrade Supply also states that the front of the iPhone 5 is more scratch resistant than its counterpart iPhone 4S.
If we talk about sizes, the iPhone 4S measures 76.65 mm x 51.60 mm with a 3.5 inch screen with 1 mm thick. The iPhone 5 will measure 90.25 mm x 51.60 mm with a 4.065 inch screen diagonal and a glass with a thickness of 0.9 mm.
0.1 mm screen thinner is probably the result of the use of In-Cell panels already discussed, which eliminates an intermediate layer by the inclusion of capacitors within the LCD itself.
Perhaps the biggest change is that the iPhone 5 will have a screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio instead of 3:2 aspect ratio used by the current iPhone.
