AirPlay? Direct in iPhone 5 with iOS 6?

AirPlay currently requires a WiFi network to stream media from an iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or Mac to an Apple TV or speaker system. This makes it more cumbersome to less technical users or for temporary visits. In WiFi connections are experimenting with WiFi Direct, a form of connection that allows devices to connect to each other directly, more simple. According to Matt Warman of The Telegraph, Apple is trying something similar but using AirPlay, which may be called "AirPlay Direct". This new feature could appear in iOS 6 along with the iPhone 5 .

"Sources familiar with the plans of the manufacturers of iPhone, say Apple wants to improve AirPlay technology, which currently requires compatible speakers and a WiFi network. The new version would require only speakers or hifi and an iDevice, iPhone, iPod and iPad form their own network to allow direct connection and play music. "

If, in fact, Apple is going ahead with the implementation of "AirPlay Direct", it seems likely that I could use WiFi Direct as its foundation. If Apple enables WiFi Direct into its product line could raise many interesting perspectives beyond AirPlay, such as file transfers without cables.

Do not know for sure if the iPhone 5 will NFC, it seems that if , but if it was not so with the Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi Direct connection ability, both safer than the NFC, Apple will not lose much by not including it.

Do you think that Apple could use WiFi Direct in the new iPhone with iOS 6 ?
