It's official. HP has announced the cancellation of the TouchPad and other devices with integrated WebOS. The tablet which sought to rival the iPhone and Android tablet has hardly captured the public's attention to sales figures rather than discrete , with little impact on the market. However, despite the withdrawal of the TouchPad, HP hopes to continue developing the WebOS system to license other manufacturers found between Autonomy Corporation. WebOS system was initially developed by Palm, a company acquired by HP last year .
Despite the bump with TouchPad, HP seems confident that its WebOS with IOS intends to compete with Apple and Google Android.
