On 27 May this year, Apple would do with the domain "iPod.com" but it was not possible because it was already registered. Hence, the thing ended up in court, which, again, give the reason Apple has ordered the immediate transfer of the domain "iPod.com" the company Steve Jobs.
Until a few hours the domain redirected visitors to the web www.mp3gold.com However, iPod.com and points directly to the Apple website. Mp3Gold had just a collection of links pointing to turn to other websites (in a nutshell was taking advantage of Fame player from Apple to get millions of visits). This has been the main reason that the Court has decided to agree with Apple Inc.
