Pod2g yesterday, the famous hacker iPad scene, posted on his personal Twitter account that he had made some progress with the Untethered Jailbreak 5.0.1 IOS devices A5 and, almost certainly, it would be ready for the week next. After a while ran the following tweet:

5.0.1 To upgrade to IOS can do it from iTunes, but we recommend saving the previously SHSH TinyUmbrella tool.
We have an iPad 2 with IOS 4.3.3 Jailbreak with that realizam0s JailbreakMe 3.0, we have saved SHSH (in case one day we would go back to 4.3.3) and updated to IOS 5.0.1 ... Now we only need to wait ...
