@ Pod2g answers some questions about the untethered jailbreak for iPhone and iPad 2 4S

@ Pod2g has published a blog post explaining some issues related to the expected jailbreak A5 chip devices, so we leave the translation of the FAQ:

  • How can jailbreak untethered pod2g have the 4S iPhone Dev-Team and have not yet released the tools to do?

The exploit that injects the files for the untethered on the iPhone 4S is based on having a developer account and can not be public. Is for the same reason that @ MuscleNerd has a tethered jailbreak iPad 2 but can not distribute it.

- Need to find a exploit distributable to reassemble the system partition read / write files to place the Crown in the right place.

  • Why Crown version of A4 chips was easier to throw?

Because the tethered jailbreak was a good way to install crown.

  • Why not do a tethered jailbreak it?

The tethered jailbreak is also based on a vulnerability that we have not yet found.

After reading this we were a little "driver", so we hope you save some ace in the hole that has not wanted to reveal, and finally we have good news next week as said Tuesday .
