Absinthe is updated to version 0.3 and includes a Linux version

Absinthe, the application to jailbreak the iPhone 4S 5 IOS and IOS 5.0.1 and 5.0.1 iOS iPad 2 has just been updated to version 0.3.

Now supports Linux, and also fixes a bug for users with Windows 32 bits. If you already have done the jailbreak does not need to do it again with this new version.
