The era of professional recording studios seem to be over. Today there are dozens of gadgets that can turn our iPhones and iPads into real professional tools for recording anything. And these were precisely the tools used by One Like Son, a rock band Alabama (USA) that after ten years without releasing anything to the market returns with an album recorded simply through the iPhone.
One component states "that the end result has nothing to envy to the recording made in a professional studio," and, in fact, states that "the sound quality is the best we have achieved to date." The band has experience, because in the past have launched other jobs.
Each of the components of the band will record their musical side with different applications on the iPhone and then mix them all together in a process that "proved to be harder than initially thought." Some of the applications used were FourTrack, MultiTrack AmpKit DAW.
The result, an album named 'Start The Show' and that it can find on Amazon or iTunes for 8.99 euros.
