Apple sued for using the word "iBooks"

ibooks Apple es demandado por el uso de la palabra iBooks

Apple received a complaint last week for violation of "iBooks." The plaintiff, John T. Colby, says he has been publishing since 1999 more than 1000 books under the name "iBook" so claims Apple to compensate him for misuse of a word that he originated in this market.

Apparently, Apple had registered the term "iBook" to designate the previous model MacBooks. However, it registered the term "iBooks" in relation to reading e-books until he began marketing the first iPhone, post-event publications iBooks Colby.

We begin another legal battle in terms.
