We review another application for the iPhone, this time related to document management which has become the universal format: PDF Expert
There are free applications to open PDF documents, so we ask, what brings back this application?
* Highlighting text, underline and strikethrough. That is, you can flag content that you view from PDF Expert, documents, news, ...
* Fill in PDF forms. Many official documents are accessible on the Internet and require entering data (taxes, social security high on the surveys, resumes, ...) so you can do from your mobile.
* Add notes and bookmarks to your documents.
* Extract text from pdf documents (this requires that the text has been introduced as such and not as an image when creating the pdf is not an OCR).
You can also view documents, send email, share documents within a wifi network ...
The management application is simple:
The initial screen brings us to the list of documents, and from there you can select the pdf on which we work. We can also see a list sorted by the last time you opened the document (Recents) or choose the settings (Settings).
Here we see the options for viewing documents.
Here you see the result of adding a text comment and a note on the document.
Also, you can connect to your favorite servers to have your documents ready for review and modification. Choose the server, give your credentials and you're inside.
Our conclusion is that Expert PDF is an application that provides benefits far beyond its current competitors and bring the documents in pdf are manageable as they are not in either your Mac or your PC but you have Acrobat Professional.
