Sparrow would be a great substitute for native application if it had iOS Mail Push Notifications, which by default does not, the reason is that Apple has not allowed for reasons of privacy and security of email accounts that would have to go through Sparrow servers.
But if you have a jailbroken iPhone you have the option of having it all (as always), with Sparrow Push Push notifications can add to Sparrow. The configuration can do it from within the application of Sparrow in your settings, fully integrated, battery consumption is the same as the iPhone if you exchange accounts.
You can download it for free on Cydia in the next few hours, pending approval. As we have said need jailbreak to install this tweak.
