The type of applications most abundant in the App Store, which generates more revenue for Apple and developers are the games, however, IOS devices do not have a physical solution with which to enjoy these games. Yes, we Icade and derivatives but the games are consistent with a minority.

A team from Keio University in Japan has developed a curious joystick that sits in the front chamber of the iPhone and allows us to make movements in three different axes: horizontal, vertical and depth. The invention is still a prototype and needs recognition software to interpret the movements we do so if one day the joystick is sold, an SDK will force developers to adapt their play (something that happens with the Icade).

It seems that the use of solutions like this will remain the most viable and cheaper today but as an idea, is fantastic.
