We have the new iPhone. First Impressions

Yesterday mid-morning, still in fear of running out or find a long queue, we went to buy the new iPhone at Fnac Triangle in Barcelona. Far from it, we arrived, there was no one and had all the models available, so we did it with a 32GB, black and 4G wireless.

We have been open and start toquitearlo, so as long as we get a new gadget, we leave our first impressions.

  • The box is just like the iPad 2, with the difference (as happened with the iPhone 4S) that on one side we see the icon of icloud.
  • After opening the box, we first find the iPad and just below, the charger, plug, cable and instructions.
  • Just turn on the iPad, in the first configuration screen, and it shows the quality of the screen and the same goes for all the screens until finally the desktop, where we can appreciate the quality of the icons.
  • In normal use (without the iPad 2 next), there is no difference in speed or performance. But once the face to face, we see how the new iPhone is a slight improvement when starting applications and games (talk about a few seconds, unrepresentative).
  • Although I must say, in the case of Real Racing 2 (and your new photo mode), moves in fits and without any flow, unlike what happens in the iPad 2. We assume that is a matter of optimization, because then the game works perfectly.
  • At toquitearlo a bit, shown in the lower left corner that the temperature is different from the other device, which has increased a lot when we started playing at Real Racing 2, making the goal is quite remarkable heat (without burning).
  • Noticeable improvement in the resolution of the camera, being much sharper the new iPad.
  • Games for iPhone, adapted to the resolution of the Retina Display should now look like verese, not just climbing the screen.
  • As discussed in a previous post, while we are using the iPhone with some specific applications, but we have it plugged in, it does not load (well, if it loads but faster download than upload).
  • Doing a little short, we can say that the change from the new iPad iPad 2 is a mere whim, since the differences are minimal in terms of performance. As always, it is possible that as time goes on, developers squeeze more new iPhone's processor, but comes to see some reflections, shadows or polygons.
