Hipstamatic and Instagram, two major applications of photography, is just the second ally making an even bigger platform. Hipstamatic and Instagram have reached an agreement that from now on, when we take a picture from the first service, we are given the option to publish directly to Instagram. When in Instagram, indicate that the photo was taken from Hipstamatic.
Last week, Instagram reached 27 million users. This is the first time since Instagram allow a third party application to use its platform, but this way they both win something. From Hipstamatic note that "your application is not a social tool, but benefit from social networks", so that the alliance with Instagram makes great sense.
No doubt that Instagram will soon reach agreements with other major applications of photography in the App Store to offer the same service.
