Did you know ...? A single icon IOS is larger than the original Mac screen

Amazing how technology evolves in just over 2 decades. If you remember, the original Macintosh was released in 1984 with black and white screen with a resolution of 512 x 324 pixels.

Today, the icons in IOS are made from images that measure 512 x 512 pixels, so in the above picture, we can see the comparison between full screen of the original Mac (and icons) with an icon of today.

There is not the "study" is that if we compare the ancient Macintosh screen with the new iPhone at the same pixel size, the image you see above is the result of the overwhelming comparison ... and something similar would happen with the rest computers of today, much as hard to believe.
