In Current iPhone I have spoken AirSever ever, the application for Mac that allows us to use AirPlay protocol to display videos, music and other content.
With the upgrade to version 4.0, offers full support to AirServer AirPlay Mirroring (wireless video mirroring) and for all applications that use this mode to display content on our TV.
After testing this version, I can say it works like a charm. The application becomes somewhat unstable at times but it is a matter of time out an update to address this problem.
Regarding the video mirror, there is some lag (as occurs in the Apple TV), but except in games is not something that bothered at all. If you have a Mac and want to save the purchase of the Apple TV, you can purchase for $ 15 or AirServer $ 4 if you have any previous version of the application.
