Tutorial: Jailbreak the iPhone 4S with IOS and IOS 5.0.1 5

With this guide you to jailbreak your iPhone 4S 5 IOS and IOS 5.0.1, as well as your iPad 2 with IOS 5.0.1.

You need to download Absinthe: Do it here.

It is important that you back up everything you have on your iPhone before you jailbreak, just in case: contacts, games, photos, etc.. (In iTunes).

This is an untethered jailbreak.

This tutorial serves both Windows and Mac, but for now there is only Mac version, when an update for Windows.

Tutorial:

Download the file Absinthe

Connect your iPhone 4S.

Click the button Jailbreak

Now you will see several steps:

• Sending initial data
• waiting for reboot
• waiting for device to finish booting
• Preparing jailbreak data
• Sending data payload
• Almost done

Your iPhone will reboot and you will have a new icon: Absinthe

Click it and wait

If you get an error: Error Establishing a database connection

Go to Settings and activate the VPN

It will give you a configuration error, but wait a minute and your device will restart with Cydia on the Springboard. Already have done the jailbreak.
