According to statements made by Steve Jobs in his official biography, we know that Apple co-founder actively participated in the revolution of the textbook that the company prepared. An ambitious project that Apple unveiled last Thursday from New York, with the introduction of textbooks in iBooks. Steve Jobs envisioned the demise of paper books in classrooms and replacing it with interactive books.
But what was the degree of immersion of Steve Jobs in this project that has seen the light after his death? Apparently, Jobs was totally involved in the implementation of iBooks 2 and he himself came to meet with the presidents of the groups publishers in the country who have supported the project from Apple.
This was confirmed in an interview with All Things D , the president of McGraw-Hill:
"I was with him (Steve Jobs) last June (...) This was his vision, his idea and was entirely related to the iPad."
Once again we see an example of how Jobs was working until the last day.
