Sounds like science fiction but a reality. Nissan plans to commercialize the first case for iPhone able to repair itself.
The secret of this case is that it has been made of a type of paint used and some of its vehicles and to repair scratches in minutes that may arise from the use or fall. Obviously, the higher the severity of the scratch, the longer the repair time.
The culprit of these repairs is polyrotaxano autonomous, a material capable of recovering the original structure of an object after a blow or a fall. The cover will not be indestructible but they cover most everyday situations.
Expected to be the year 2012, that this case reaches the market Nissan but the price sure to check back more than one potential buyer.
