As reported by MG Siegler user, Google is planning to launch a native application Gmail for IOS devices, moreover, there is talk that the application may already be in the hands of Apple waiting for analysis and approval.
With this application would significantly improve the experience and capabilities of Google Mail and while the Web application is already quite good, the native application offer new features and functionality.
The issue is now to see how long it takes Apple to approve this application because many similar applications have been rejected by "doubling" the native application functionality that brings iOS mail.
