Madrid is in addition to the tributes to the figure of the XXI century revolutionary inventor and cofounder of Apple, Steve Jobs. In a plenary that took place today in the city of Madrid, all political parties (PP, PSOE, IU and UPyD) passed unanimously and without debate, give the name of Steve Jobs to a street, public space or cultural institution of the city. The place will be determined later.
If the City decides to finally give the name of Steve Jobs to a street, this will be the first in the world. A decision has been welcomed by Apple fans, but also has garnered much criticism.
