Once again, Microsoft gets defensive when he speaks of his great competitor: Apple. In an interview with Forbes, Craig Mundie, Chief Research and Strategy at Apple, said Apple has not introduced anything new on the market:
"Microsoft's Tellme appeared on the market for over a year. Apple has made a major marketing campaign, but Microsoft has offered a voice assistant on phones with Windows 7 for over a year. "
In addition, Mundie added that both Tellme and Siri perform the same tasks. But to what extent is Tellme, Microsoft, effective? In the following video we can see a comparison of the two participants in which it is obvious that Siri wins by a landslide at Tellme, an assistant that never arrives to offer a good solution to the user. Not to mention, that the first sentence is interpreted as "create an appointment tomorrow to teen anal" instead of "creating an appointment tomorrow at 10 am". As we see, Siri is a powerful tool for understanding language prepared with different accents, therein lies the success of Apple:
