Users of IOS use more than the Android WiFi

A recent study released Monday, revealed that iPhone users in the U.S. and UK are more likely to use WiFi to connect to Internet users of Android.

According to this study by ComScore, 71% of Americans who have an iPhone, use WiFi to connect to the Internet regularly. However, this percentage drops to 32% when it comes to Android users. In the UK these porcenajes are higher in both cases, with 87% for IOS and 57% for Android.

According to analysts, the difference between the two countries is due to poor data plans with mobile operators in the UK. Thus, users prefer WiFi to a point, rather than connect via 3G.

And with the advent of 4G technology, it appears that these percentages will increase considerably, since the first months of this technology will be marked by distrust of users. Besides, surely the 4G data plans are more expensive than the current, causing many users think if connect immediately or wait to get to a WiFi access point.

Reviewing the mobile operators in the U.S., we see that AT & T customers are the most used WiFi, thanks to the company offered free hotspots around the country. In contrast, in the UK, Vodafone and Orange are the main users of WiFi.

And you, Are you using 3G data connect, even if you have a WiFi nearby?
