Requests pod2g allowing Apple iOS Tweaks and Themes

Is a known hacker pod2g iOS and creator of many tools for Jailbreak. Twitter yesterday spoke about the current state of iOS. Security expert says he is seeing as many of his friends geeks change iOS to Android, and calls on Apple to open its mobile platform to help stop this migration of users.

The well-known hacker said no technical problems that prevent Apple let developers create tweaks or issues, you would simply expand its API / SDK. He adds that the same system could continue to follow with iOS applications and review them before throwing them to the App Store.

Obviously, as most people, these messages are only a user illusions. The difference is that when pod2g speaking, there are many people who listen. The words echo the hacker had enough to start a petition on Twitter titled "WeWantAnOpeniOS" whose creator, FlawlessFox, Apple says it will send after you have collected enough signatures. And the hashtag with the same name became a trending topic immediately.

Hopes: the fact that there's no jailbreak for the iPhone 5 may push Apple to open a little more their OS for tweaks and mods.

The conversation caused by this tweet is pretty interesting. Apple iOS could open for things like themes, widgets and other third-party modifications. Sure it would take a little more work, but it's still a relatively easy project.

Think about it. Continue to have control over your system, you could set limits can or can not do, could have people aprovando or modifications not shipped and still be able to sell more in the App Store with its usual 30% commission.

However, despite the debate created on the Internet, I do not think Apple iOS change in these areas, at least in a long time. Yet the intention is good. If you are interested, sign the petition WeWantAnOpeniOS .
