How to Jailbreak iOS 6.1 Beta 5 [Video]

We carry all day wondering if iOS 6.1 Beta 5 that Apple has released to developers is or is not the Golden Master version. What is or not, it is unlikely that we will see the launch of Jailbreak the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini until iOS 6.1 is public.

Meanwhile, if you are a developer, you can enjoy a version 6.1 Beta Jailbreak iOS 5 on your device pre-A5. Jailbreak is a tethered, unless you are using an older version of the bootrom of the iPhone 3GS.

Take a look at the video that will guide you step by step through the process to jailbreak iOS 6.1 Beta 5:

How to jailbreak a device pre-iOS 6.1 Beta A5 5

Step 1. Download iOS 6.1 Beta 5 from Apple Developer Portal. You must be a registered developer to do so.

Step 2. Download iOS 6.0 iOS 6.0 for your device from here. It can be an iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS or iPod Touch fourth generation.

Step 3. Download RedSn0w 0.9.15b3 from here.

Step 4. Connect your device to your computer and start it in DFU mode.

Step 5. Run RedSn0w 0.9.15b3 and make sure it detects your device in DFU mode.

Step 6. Click Extras> Select IPSW> and select the iOS 6.0 IPSW you downloaded in Step 2. RedSn0w should identify iOS firmware. Otherwise, you have the wrong version of RedSn0w or incorrect firmware. Click OK.

Step 7. Click "back" and then "jailbreak". When you have finished downloading all, make sure you have checked the option "Install Cydia" and click "Next". Start your Jailbreak. We assume that the device is properly placed in DFU mode, as shown in Step 4.

Step 8. Once your device is in the lock screen, put it back into DFU mode.

Step 9. Click "OK" in the notification of "Tethered Jailbreak" if you have not already, and again click "Select IPSW".

Step 10. Again, select the iOS firmware for your device 6. Once correctly identified the firmware, click "Just boot".

Step 11. If you put your device in DFU mode correctly, and followed all the steps above, RedSn0w should perform a tethered boot your device. You should see the logo of pwnapple, which tells you that the device has been successfully started.

Step 12. Once in the lock screen, unlock the device and check that you have the Cydia icon.

That's all there is to do. You now have a device running Beta 5 Jailbreak iOS 6.1. However, I remind you that this firmware is a beta firmware, so it is recommended only for developers.

I also remember that this is a tethered jailbreak, which means that if you turn off your device or you will lose and you will reiniciais that restarting the program, as we did in steps 10 and 11.

Rumor has it that the Untethered Jailbreak will be launched very soon, so I can do the Jailbreak the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini. For now have to continue waiting.
