The Shanghai correspondent Marketplace (a popular U.S. news program), Rob Schmitz, came last month Foxconn factories in Loghua, China. This is the plant that produced many of the iPhone we see on the street. It is the second journalist in history that has been allowed to enter the manufacturing area.
Well, Schmitz has uploaded a video of his visit to the plant, which includes a tour of the assembly line of an iPad, as well as an approach to how you live an employee of Foxconn. Perhaps Apple is showing some openness and transparency with the media, a clear change of direction.
Besides look at the production of iPad, the video revealed other interesting details of Foxconn. For example, in the assembly line workers change position every few days to minimize the monotony. The basic salary is 14 dollars a day.
We must admit it is interesting to know how it has joined our iPad. This link then you have the full video. Enjoy it!
Video What do you think? Did you see something that does not expect?
