It seems that many users report problems to restore their iPhones or 0.9.7 jailbreak with Redsn0w apparently the problem is in implementing Wi-Fi Sync, with which you can sync your iPhone via WiFi, and exploit the recent Monte jailbreaks.
The solution is simply to eliminate Wi-Fi Sync on your computer and do the jailbreak or restore again.
