Apple is determined that the contents pass through devices like the iPad, pay a fee. And it seems that newspapers are their first battle.
The newspaper industry should begin to think a good strategy for people Apple does not keep a good piece of the subscriptions.
Apparently Apple has written a number of Belgian print media, with the intention that no longer offer a free electronic version of their publications to customers who subscribe to the paper version. Until now, Belgian media, as expected on the other hand, offer this bonus to subscribers, allowing the electronic version free download in its iPad , as they have paid for the paper version.
An initiative that Apple is not welcomed, and do not see a penny from the famous 30% that are usually carried by each electronic publication which is downloaded from the App Store or from iTunes.
It seems logical that the owners of the presses which decide their business model, not a third party to force them to charge "twice" to their customers for something they have already paid.
We will see in just the thing, and if it becomes an isolated event or a trend.
