After two months in the App Store, Apple has decided to withdraw the VLC media player because the program violates several points of the license from Apple for the publication of applications, including those relating to DRM videos.
It's a shame that we remain without a media player like VLC on the platform iOS but we can always download it from Cydia repo by adding the following:
