Steve Jobs, Apple CEO has been forced to withdraw temporarily for health reasons. Then you have the email that Steve Jobs has been sent to Apple employees:
"Team,
Accepting my request, the Board has granted me a temporary medical leave so you can focus on my health. I will continue as CEO and I will remain involved in major strategic decisions of the company.
I've asked Tim Cook if he could be responsible for daily operations. I have every confidence that Tim and the rest of the executive management team will do an excellent job of bringing to fruition the exciting plans we have for this year 2011.
Apple and I very much hope to return as soon as possible. Meanwhile, my family and I appreciate you respect our privacy.

While recovering Steve Jobs, Tim Cook will be responsible for everything goes according to plan but Steve will participate in major decisions of the company.
Hopefully it is not anything serious and that Steve can return to normal duties as soon as possible.
