Kingston announced during CES 2011, a device that will allow up to 3 iPad connected and sharing files simultaneously, increasing their storage capacities.
MobiSX is the code name announced by Kingston device: a wireless storage device that allows simultaneous connection of up to three people via Wi-Fi and WEP security level.
The MobiSX will connect via Wi-Fi under the standard 802.11 a / b / g / n and will be available in 16GB and 32GB models. The iPad will detect the MobiSX as a Wi-Fi (Wi-fi Kingston ") that once connected you can browse from the Safari to access files stored as documents, music, photos and videos, so would not need to use iTunes to synchronize with the iPad MobiSX.
Autonomy is provided four hours of transmission, and is expected to be available the second quarter of 2011 with an estimated price of 75 € for the 16GB model and 150 € for the 32GB model.
