George Hotz is rumored to already have untethered jailbreak on your iPhone, and says he will resubmit a tool that allows the jailbreak of an easy and simple, as it always does it. It is also said to be returning to gamble to Chronic Dev Team tool before submitting them.
This would be a jailbreak untethered, but will not work on all devices, it is likely to be the new bootrom 3GS which is left out, as the fourth-generation devices are all the same hardware and devices and have previous jailbreak forever known exploits.
