Orbotix has shown a prototype of a robotic ball that can be controlled with the iPhone or iPod Touch. The product is called Sphere and uses the Bluetooth connection and a free application for the management of robot although it is expected that this accessory has the support of the developers of the App Store so that they appear to Sphere own games (soccer, bowling ... )

Sphere is expected to start marketing it in late 2011 at a price below $ 100.
